CTV's The Take Back
Canadians across the country receive a second chance after a cancelled celebration. We worked with THE TAKE BACK team to create a surprise event for unsuspecting Canadians, giving them an experience that will change their ordinary day to an extraordinary lifetime memory.
This custom court was built for HOOPQUEENS, Canada’s first paid womens basketball league that provides opportunities for the underserved and underrepresented was debuted in this extraordinary event at The Bentway in Toronto for CTV's The Take Back.
TD x Union Station
Toronto's Union Station just got a new Roller Skating Rink! Introducing the Roller Express Rink brought to you by TD!
This was such a cool project to help put together, the roller skating rink has views of the CN Tower and you'll be able to skate the underground loop filled with dance lights, a DJ, and refresh with snacks and beverages.
Vizzy Hard Seltzer
Our team partnered with Playbook Co. & Vizzy Hard Seltzer to create a custom pickleball court featured at RendezViews outdoor patio in downtown Toronto. This one-of-a-kind pickleball court experience is open all summer long for bookings and on-patio play!
The team ensured the foundation on site was level before applying our game sport tile to create the court. Once the conditions were perfect for pickleball play this activation was rounded out with a premier portable pickleball net system.
CÎROC Honey Melon
To celebrate the launch of CÎROC Vodka Honey Melon, CÎROC hosted a country club themed activation at Toronto’s Hotel X complete with a custom CÎROC pickleball court.
Our team partnered with trevor//peter to bring together the focal point of the event, allowing guests to be introduced to the sport firsthand. Featuring custom logos, a sleek matching color scheme and our deluxe portable pickleball net, guests could not get enough of playing on the court all evening long while sampling summer inspired CÎROC cocktails.
Adidas Basketball
Partnering with Adidas for their #RememberTheWhy campaign, our team brought to life a popup activation in downtown Toronto complete with a custom Adidas court and City Hoops traveler basketball systems. Fans, influencers, sports personalities and athletes alike connected with the brand coinciding with the WNBA’s first exhibition game held in Toronto.
To ensure the surface was optimal for basketball play, our team leveled off the space prior to installing the custom Adidas court. Utilizing our City Hoops traveller (portable) basketball hoops we were able to bring together the court for attendees to enjoy putting up shots over the weekends festivities.
AdiClub x Klarna
Adidas and Klarna joined forces to launch an Adidas pop-up that integrated basketball and prizing. Our team completed the basketball court system for this exciting activation.
KFC's Buckets Are Life
DIY Court Canada teamed up with KFC Canada and Narrative to build the Buckets Are Life, KFCourt underneath the Gardiner Expressway in Downtown Toronto! This outdoor basketball court activation was built to support Jump Thru Hoops with all proceeds donated. Each time slot costs only $5.
This activation was installed by using our base panels, a concrete pad alternative to provide a solid temporary foundation for the finished game tile design. After completing the base panel installation, the final custom tiles were installed overtop. To create the full court experience, the City Hoops Traveler (portable) basketball hoops were chosen which allowed the space to be undisturbed while providing NBA / Professional regulation size backboard and height.
Labrador Winter Games
DIY Court Canada worked with the Labrador Winter Games to design and build the indoor hockey and badminton courts for the community of Happy Valley - Goose Bay!
This great installation featured a 12’ Town Of Happy Valley - Goose Bay community logo and an 8’ Labrador Winter Games logo! Thank you to our new friends in the East Coast for trusting DIY Court Canada
