Canada’s Retaliatory Tariffs Have Ended – What This Means for You

Good news for our customers: as of September 1, Canada has removed retaliatory tariffs on goods from the United States covered by the Canada-U.S.-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA). Previously, imported products from the U.S. were subject to an additional 25% tariff — an extra cost that impacted many of the sport tile court kits and accessories we bring in from U.S. suppliers.

With these tariffs now lifted, new orders crossing the border after September 1 will no longer carry the 25% surcharge on the products that were subject to the fee. Completed imports prior to September 1 are not eligible for this change and remain subject to the tariff. For estimates that have not yet been completed, look out for an update from your account manager with updated pricing or contact us at sales@diycourt.ca.

For DIY Court Canada customers, this means building your dream court can now become a reality without any extra fees.
